TVS Sri Chakra – Madurai

The project at TVS Sri Chakra, Madurai involved the successful installation and commissioning of 2 x 2000 KVA DG Sets (Diesel Generator Sets) to deliver a dependable power backup solution for the facility. These high-capacity DG sets were strategically placed to ensure a continuous and reliable power supply, with an emphasis on fuel efficiency and emission reduction to meet the facility’s power requirements.

Key activities included the installation of fuel lines and piping to ensure an uninterrupted fuel supply to the DG sets. Cable trays were installed for efficient routing of both power and control cables, ensuring proper organization and ease of future maintenance. Control cables were carefully routed and terminated to guarantee effective communication between the DG sets and the control panels.

A robust earthing system was implemented, ensuring proper grounding to minimize electrical hazards and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.

The project was completed on time with all systems fully operational. TVS Sri Chakra now benefits from a reliable and efficient power backup system, supporting uninterrupted operations and adhering to industry safety, performance, and environmental guidelines.
