Grasim Industries Ltd , Chennai Division : Installed 2 × 2000 KVA DG sets.
The project at GRASIM INDUSTRIES LTD, Chemical Division involved the installation and commissioning of 2 x 2000 KVA DG Sets (Diesel Generator Sets) to provide a robust power backup solution for the facility. These DG sets were strategically installed to ensure uninterrupted power supply, optimized for fuel efficiency and compliance with environmental standards.
In addition to the DG sets, the scope of work included the installation of necessary piping and fuel line connections, ensuring a continuous and reliable fuel supply for smooth operation. Cable trays were installed for organized routing of power and control cables, providing accessibility for future maintenance. Control cables were laid and terminated to ensure reliable communication between the DG sets and control panels.
A comprehensive earthing system was also put in place to ensure safety by providing effective grounding and minimizing electrical hazards in compliance with industry standards.
The project was completed successfully, with all systems operational and ensuring a reliable power backup solution for GRASIM INDUSTRIES LTD, meeting all operational and safety requirements.
